THE PAPER - The paper is far too long. Please note it says 6 to 8 pages in the Syllabus.
The paper needs to articulate its thesis clearly and be more focused. It needs clearer “identity.” It reads like two different papers, one historical and one contemporary with a tenuous link between them. On the contemporary part of the paper, the documentation is very thin, with only two or three sources actually cited within the paper are from the twenty-first century.
Also, your paper does not follow APA formatting at all for in-text citations and has APA errors—like quotation marks around article titles—in the Reference section.
Nevertheless, you made some valid points about the resurgent Orthodox Church in contemporary Russia.

I opened your attachment and read your Project #2. I will record a grade of 88 in the course grade book.
Your paper was interesting. A few paragraphs were too long. Also, you needed to critique Said's methodology, if, in fact, he had one. Poke a few more holes in the H thesis. See the intro in Gelvin for a few ideas.
