Thesis proposal is a document which presents a general overview of the thesis work and it is normally done as a written report presented on a seminar. A Postgraduate Committee is to analyze the report and supposed to give its impersonal and objective judgment about the proposal. It identifies a research problem, gives the preliminary analysis of existing research on the problem, identifies necessary resources, and sets down the schedule for the work and writing process.
